Duties and responsibilities: Dermatologists are physicians who treat conditions related to the skin, though they may also treat disorders related to the hair and nails. Dermatologists undergo additional specialized training beyond receiving a medical degree to become experts in skincare, and they must also obtain a license to practice. Some dermatologists choose to further specialize in the field by concentrating their work in pediatric dermatology.
Salary: dermatology is one of the highest paid specialities a 2012 medscape  poll report that the median income for dermatologist in the united states is $283,000 with a range of $100,000 to $500,00
Education: all dermatologists must complete a doctor of medicine degree before are able to practice. Students must them enter a special dermatology program that includes a residency. Those with academic or research ambitions may eventually pursue additional doctoral degree
